June 29th - painting day

I have the day off from work today and so my plan was to  try  and  stain the deck.  I woke up this morning  to discover  grey clouds and overcast  sky and the humidity up to 62%.  Maybe not a good day to stain!!

Yesterday the dog was barking at something outside.  I looked out the window to discover a deer in our yard.  I got my camera and tried to sneak out of the house to take a picture, but the deer ran away before I could snap the picture.  Then I saw another deer hiding behind one of the trees but as soon as it saw me  it ran away, with the help of Buster before I could take a picture of that deer.  This morning their were two deer in the yard  and again  I tried to sneak out  (this time without Buster)  to take a picture.  Thy got away  again.    The deer are being very elusive.  It turns out their is also a fawn close by.   Maybe tomorrow!!!

July 24th - Pizza

Dan and Ruth came down from Calgary for the day.  Ruth went to the temple while Dan stayed and trimmed the  grass around the trees and Audrey's house.  We met Ruth after the 4:30 session and then we all went to Pizza & Cream for supper.  Excellent  Pizza!!!  Audrey has been feeling under the weather for quite a while now and has been to the doctor a couple of times.  Hopefully the medication the doctor has given her will perk up her a bit.

July 17, 2010

AG called me up and invited me to her swim team meet on Saturday.  Cardston, Raymond and Magrath all had teams represented. All the kids preformed great and had a lot of fun. AG is a really strong swimmer and was really awesome in freestyle.  She received two sixth place ribbons, 1 fifth place ribbon and 1 first place ribbon for their relay team.

Rod and I went to Medicine Hat to CW's baby blessing.  CW is so cute and  is such a good baby.  You never  hear a peep out of him unless he is hungry or need his pants changed.  MW also had a birthday the day before and so we had  birthday cake and presents to celebrate the event.

July 1, 2010 - Audrey's Birthday Party

The day started out nice and sunny and then it turned cold and rainy.    A lot  of the family from Calgary came down and Shannon and Mandy and their children came out and we had a wonderful celebration.  It ended up that we couldn't eat outside but we all survived eating indoors and visiting and having a good time.  I took some pictures of Audrey blowing out her candles  on her cake but I forgot to load them on my computer and now they are no longer on my camera.  I did get the pictures  developed  so I can put them in my family scrapbook.

I was coming home from work and saw 3 moose in Eric Leavitt's place.  They stood right by the road while Rod and I was able to take pictures.
